Cadillac Ranch

Holy Cow!  I forgot to tell y'all about our visit yesterday to Cadillac Ranch, Route 66 & Cadillac RV park.

We cruised down Route 66 just a little piece- mainly to say we'd been there.  Here's proof:
Around Weatherford, TX is this:
Kinda bummed we didn't have Lucille to park by this sign and snap a picture.  Oh well.  Can't dwell on that.

Next stop was The Cadillac Ranch.  The Cadillac Ranch is an art installation of 10 classic Cadillacs buried face first.  The artist were: Chip LordHudson Marquez and Doug Michels, who were a part of the art group Ant Farm.  It was installed in 1974 on land owned by Stanley Marsh III, a local millionaire. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cadillac_Ranch
(That's me, Jerry & Max)
There's my Daddy making his graffiti mark… spray painting is encouraged.
Max creating his own design.
Jerry need to use two cans at once for his art!

Just up Route 66 a piece is the Cadillac RV park and gift shop.
The front Cadillac has John Wayne, middle Cadillac has Willie Nelson, rear Cadillac is Elvis.  Looks like a fun place to camp!
That's MY Daddy! I'm having a blast y'all.  I've actually booked 3 gigs in Atlanta while on this road trip so I'm being productive too!  Jerry owns a company that makes pizza boxes and he's sold thousands of 'em while on the road.  Thousands.

I had no idea it was so windy out here.  We said how windy it was to a farmer in Amarillo and he laughed at us and said,  'Shoot! You ain't seen windy! You shoulda been here yesterdee.'
This house had tires on top to keep the wind from blowing off the roof!  That's serious windage!!

Peace for now!
