T-minus 9 hours & 45 minutes

So . . . I'm heading out west to Pueblo, Co with my Dad.  In the morning.  6:45am.  I haven't even begun to pack.  We'll be gone for 2 weeks.  How does a girl pack for 2 weeks without bringing everything?  This is going to be interesting.  I mean . . . I need shoes.  Running shoes (in case I get to workout); flip flops (for sheer comfort); cowgirl boots (duh! We're headed out west!); cute pair of shoes (because . . . well, just because); shower shoes (cause unless they are bleaching the floors in all the bathrooms prior to my arrival - I'm not touching them with my feet and risk getting a nasty fungus infection like Scott did in Singapore . . . oh how I miss Singapore); hiking boots (cause we're in Colorado . . . there's hiking in Colorado, right?)  So you can see my dilemma.  I need comfy travel clothes, PJs, shirts, skirts, shorts, jeans, undies, bras, workout clothes, socks, accessories (i.e. scarves, bracelets, necklaces, rings, belts.) Sigh.  I should have started this days ago.  Oh - I'm also taking my laptop, my iPad, my iPhone and all the charging accessories.  Then there's the mountain of magazines that I never have a chance to read at home.  Oh . . . I need my Earl Grey Tea, some fruit (so I don't eat junk), protein powder (so I don't get tempted to eat at McDonald's on the road), almond milk - damn - that means I need a cooler . . . which means I need ice.  Oh and my vitamins and the few meds I have to take.  Toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, gel, cleansers, tea tree oil, coconut oil & aloe).  Hair dryer, diffuser, jumprope, my workout DVDs (cause surely I will have time to do those in the hotel room at night), a hat.  I need a hat.  Maybe I'll wait to buy a hat when we get there.  Maybe they'll have a big floppy hippie girl hat somewhere along the way.  Maybe I should stop blogging and get my butt upstairs and start packing - for real.  T-minus 9 hours and 15 minutes now.  I've never been on a trip with just my Dad before so I'm really excited to spend time with him - just me and him.  I already miss Scott, my pups and my Mom.  So . . . here we go.  I'm headed upstairs to figure this out quickly and then get in bed so I can be up in time to be ready when Dad arrives in his amazing car.  Oh . . . I didn't mention that?  We're driving his 1933 Cadillac LaSalle.  SWEEEEEEEEETTTTTTTT!
